SPIDER-MAN: WHY GREAT POWER AND RESPONSIBILITY STILL MATTERS

With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility.

Yes, my friends, today I'm not going to give any examples from history. Today I will give you an example from a story of a boy---

A boy who became someone by choosing responsibility over comfort.

Spider-Man
The Man who taught us to Hold On A Second Longer.

INTRODUCTION

Spider-Man is a character designed by Steve Ditko and created by Stan Lee. He is the greatest and most relatable character in the entire Marvel Universe.

Peter Parker was just a teenager when his life changed forever.

After failing to stop a Criminal, Dennis Carradine, that same criminal later killed his Uncle Ben.

In his final moments, Uncle Ben said words that would define Peter's life:

"With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility."

After that incident, Peter Parker became our Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man. Not because he wanted fame, but because he chose to do what was right.

That person who helped others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is indeed, without a doubt, a real superhero.

The one person who created a character who teach us what is power and how to use it

- Stan Lee (1922-2018)

 Who Is Peter Parker?

To understand Spider-Man, you have to understand Peter Parker because Spider-Man is not Peter Parker; Peter Parker is the reason why we all love Spider-Man.

This picture depicts that for Peter his Spider-Man personality is a Responsiblity

Peter is a teenager like us.

He struggles with respect, relationships, bullying, expectations, and exhaustion.

He is intelligent, yet constantly tired.

He wants to do well in school, but his responsibilities keep pulling him down.

The only time when he forgets his uncle's word

But folks, I will say Peter Parker is the reason why we see Spider-Man, maybe knowingly or unknowingly, but it is true. Due to Peter Parker's kindness, honesty, and fearlessness, and Uncle Ben's guidance, he is with us and superior to us or else he will be a normal person or a threat to humanity.

Why The Spider Bite Was Not The True Reason?

The spider which gave him powers.

In one of the comic timeline it is shown what would have happened if the spider destined to bite Peter never bitten him.

In this timeline, the spider, which was destined to bite Peter Parker, hadn't bitten him; it bit a woman standing nearby. After this, the most traumatic incident, which has created a responsible person or Spider-Man, never happened, which was the death of his Uncle Ben.

This picture depicts that even after having grate power Peter never hurt his bully.

After this, Peter never became Spider-Man, due to which he was always a nerd and bullied.

After that, one day, the person who was destined to shoot Uncle Ben wasn't able to shoot him because he tried to protect his uncle at the right moment and right time by covering his uncle, but somehow the criminal shot him at his feet, due to which he got injured.

The ambulance came to rescue Peter, and the cops came to arrest Dennis Carradine(The criminal who tried to kill Ben).

This is the time when Peter and Flash became friends

The Doctor told Peter that he would never be able to walk on both feet and would need crutches to get around.

After that, when he goes to his school, he meets a new bully who tries to bully Peter, but suddenly Flash comes and stops everyone and tells everyone that Peter is a brave person who took a gun short to save his uncle.

After that day, Peter was never bullied again, and a friendship between Flash and Peter began.

But after some time, suddenly, Sandman (William Baker) attacked Peter's school, and then Peter realised that this man was also there to harm his uncle. Peter confronted Sandman by himself, but he was too scared because of fear and weakness.

However, suddenly, Silk Women appear and save the day.

This shows that Peter was not great for his suite but for his will to never give up
Watching her, Peter realised something important :

The world needs people who choose to act - even without powers.

Motivated by this truth, Peter built gadgets and trained himself.

He become spiderman without a spider bite.

This proves one thing clearly:

Responsibility - not power - creates a hero.

Is Spider-Man Worthy Of Mjolnir?

Many fans believe Spider-Man is worthy of lifting Thor's hammer, Mjolnir.

I disagree

If you're thinking what am I saying then please wait and read until the end.
I saw that to lift Mjolnir, we need some specific things to understand.

Key Aspects Of Worthiness are

  • Selflessness and Sacrifice
  • Nobel Mind and Pure Heart
  • Courage & Humanity
  • Justice and Protection
  • Striving for Worthiness

There is a very iconic speech of Spider-Man that shows why Spider-Man is not worthy of Mjolnir. This speech by Spider-Man was first seen in the comic "The Amazing Spider-Man," specifically in the fight between Morlun and Spider-Man.

By this line of thinking, we can understand that Peter views his superpowers as a curse when he fights against Morlun.

He doubts himself deeply.

And that is what makes him human.

Spider-Man is not perfect like Thor or Captain America.

He is filled with doubt, failure, distraction, and fear -- just like us.

The only difference is this:

Peter chooses to improve, even when he hates himself.

A Personal Truth.

I am very much distracted too.
I love playing games, and because of that, this blog came late.
I know that the traffic may be low.
I know SEO might not support it.

But I know why I am writing.

I am writing because I believe that if I can try, you can too.
I am also a boy of failures--
who dreams of being great, at least for himself.

Conclusion

Spider-Man was created to teach us why change matters --
so that others don't suffer the way Peter did.

But look at us now.

Are we changing?

I don't write blogs just for happiness.
I write to help others find their WHY.
Maybe I can't show you HOW--
But I write because I don't want you to remain where I am.

MIYAMOTO MUSASHI : THE LIFE, DUELS, PHILOSOPHY, AND LESSONS FROM JAPAN’S GRATEST SAMURAI.

INTRODUCTION:- Miyamoto Musashi   (1583 - 13 June 1645) was a philosopher, strategist, artist, writer, and a renowned swordsman in Japan, and remains so to this day. Today I am talking about this person because I want you all to learn from him some of the very important things that I appreciate in him the most. The most important thing I want to ask you is what do you think is the most important thing to WIN? Most people will say some heavy words like a calm mind, consistency, discipline, becoming a master of a skill or finding a purpose or motive to do something. Yes indeed, they are very, very important, but they can't assure a proper win against your opponents. According to me, the most important thing to win in anything is to be unpredictable at every move because most people can become calm, consistent, etc., to chase their dreams, but when you become unpredictable, it's impossible to understand your next move. I will give you the reason why I am saying this, just stay w...

Your Are Your Habits - How Small Daily Actions Shape You.

Self-improvement is a long journey that  is to be followed consistently. When we talk about self-improvement, what comes to mind first  is that we have to make a strict routine. And then we have to  follow it very strictly, like going to the gym every day,  developing a top-notch Communication skill, or going to the  doctor for a full head-to-toe check-up, which could be very  expensive sometimes. But what if I say we don't need to do this  at the very start of our journey? Then you will ask me, "What  should we do then?" Let me explain to you a very simple thing: "When you do a simple task daily or take small steps daily  towards your respective goals, that is how you start". Some of  the very popular authors or philosophers also say that,  like  James Clear  says in his book Atomic Habits : " He emphasises the "power of continuous improvement," stating that getting just 1% better every day results in being 37 times bette...
